The Atlantic Off Punta Cana’s Coast
The waters 15–25 miles offshore from Punta Cana are world-class fishing grounds. Blue marlin, white marlin, mahi-mahi, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and sailfish are all active year-round with varying peak seasons. Your captain will target the species most active on the day, reading current patterns and temperature breaks to put the lines in the best possible position. When something bites, it’s your turn.
