Carved through lush Dominican landscape and opened in 2007, the Punta Blanca Golf Course is a Par 72 challenge that rewards every level of play. Wide, undulating fairways invite confidence off the tee — but strategic bunkers, natural lakes, and the island-green par-3s at holes 13 and 15 demand precision when it truly counts.

The course is planted entirely with Paspalum Vaginatum — a premium saltwater-tolerant grass renowned for its lush density, fast greens, and exceptional playability in tropical climates. Every hole is maintained to exacting standards, ensuring conditions worthy of the championship pedigree that defines Punta Blanca.

Unlike many resort courses in the area, Punta Blanca’s routing is completely free of residential development. Every hole plays through authentic tropical landscape — pure golf, with no distractions.

Designed by a World Champion

Punta Blanca holds a unique distinction in Caribbean golf: it is the first golf course ever designed by Nick Price — former World No. 1, three-time Major champion, and inductee of the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Price brought his champion’s instinct to every design decision — building a course that tests the mind as much as the swing. Island-Green Par 3s — Holes 13 & 15

The course’s most memorable moments come at holes 13 and 15 — two dramatic short holes where the greens are surrounded by water, demanding surgical accuracy and nerves of steel. Miss the green and you’re in serious trouble. Carry the hazard and you’ll feel like a champion.

Strategic Bunkering Throughout

Thoughtfully placed sand hazards create genuine risk-reward decisions off every tee. The bunkers are approachable yet penalizing — true to championship design principles — and they reward players who commit to their shot shape.

Lakeside Par 5s — Birdie Opportunities with Risk

Three back-nine par-5s offer genuine birdie opportunities balanced against serious water risk. The 14th hole at 584 yards from the tips is the course’s most thrilling strategic challenge — reachable in two, but only for the brave.
