DAY 2 — MONKEYLAND

Nestled in the lush hills of Punta Cana, this five-acre eco-farm is home to a colony of free-roaming squirrel monkeys who have absolutely no fear of humans — and will make that very clear the moment you walk through the gate.
Your guide leads you through the farm’s botanical garden, where native medicinal plants, tropical fruit trees, and exotic flowers grow alongside the jungle trails. The monkeys appear quickly — leaping between branches, landing on shoulders, peering curiously into camera lenses. These are not performing animals.
